| Posted: | | | | Hmmm.... a difficult one to call.
I do have the original 2000 R2 release of Dogma, which was quite rare, but now it has been re-released so is probably not as valuable as it once was.
What else.... have the first 3 collector's edition boxsets of the X-Files ... I know they were pretty rare as you can only get the digipak versions now. Hard to say really, rarity depends on how many owner's are selling out of circulation items I suppose. I have tonnes of DVD's that say collector's edition, special edition, limited edition, some that are numbered or exclusive etc. but with mass production, I doubt whether many of them are rare. | | | DVD Blu-Ray LastFM | | | Last edited: by bizarre_eye |

| Posted: | | | | I dont have many rare DVDs: - Dagon (Anolis Uncut Edition) (Germany RC2)Quite rare, as it is the only german release that is fully uncut. It lacks the commentary tracks of the RC1-release, but has unique interviews and a better picture quality compared to the RC1, as you can see here: http://www.caps-a-holic.com/vergleich.php?vergleichID=613#vergleich_start- Event Horizon (Special Edition in custum plastic case) (Germany RC2) |

| Posted: | | | | I own quite a few rare DVDs and Blu-rays, but haven't really tabulated them into a list. A couple that I can think of offhand:
Day of the Reaper Blu-ray is rare at only 100 copies released, and there's always people on Blu-ray.com begging for someone to sell one.
Titan Find aka Creature DVD is also a super rare. I think only about 150 (or less) actually got released, all autographed by the director. People are always trying to find that one also... it's just a shame that there are "bootleggers" galore profiting from it on ebay.
The Slumber Party Massacre Collection (Roger Corman's Cult Classics) 2-Disc DVD set is also rare... at least as far as the version I have goes. The audio commentaries on it are "uncut/uncensored", only a limited amount (it's unknown just how many) were actually sold direct from Shout! Factory before it was pulled from sale, and the commentaries were then "censored" (comments silenced) due to Roger Corman having an issue with some of the participants in the commentaries. | | | Corey | | | Last edited: by Katatonia |

| Posted: | | | | Hmmm, rare? I think the rarest I have as far as limited release goes is probably the original Dawn of the Dead director's cut, which I think was limited to 3000 copies. I've never done a replacement value inventory as that would take way too long, but as for most valuable, that would likely be my unopened copy of the limited edition Serial Experiments Lain BluRay set As for others valuable, I have no idea, but some of the early, and never reissued horror releases I have can run upwards of $100 on e-bay on a good day. |

| Posted: | | | | My Hong Kong DVD of Robotrix(1991) must be considered incredible rare, judging from the prices it is solf for at Amazon Marketplace. £250 and up! It is rare, as it is the only uncut version available. The UK DVD has been savaged by the BBFC (British Censorship). |
