I think you'll find the way that they should be ordered is to prioritise on Gold, then Silver etc so:

Depends on what you are counting. We are ahead on total medal count but I accept that you are temporarily ahead on total Gold medals. On a per capita basis we have lapped you.



According to the IOC the Medals Tables for each Olympi Games are defined as Count of
Gold, then Silver, the Bronze medals
Not on the Grand Total of medals won

so theoretically Outer Mongolia could beat everybody if they only won Gold medals

Womens Beach Volleyball Finals:

USA vs. China - how exciting was that (for my fellow countrymen I mean). And the girls kicked their butts! They were quite excited after their victory I must say. What fun it was to watch them throughout the week.


Womens Gymnastics - Balance Beam:
Isn't Shawn Johnson just the cutest thing. She looks like a Chatty Cathy doll (and I should know... we have 35 of them  )

Congrats to Shawn. I was so happy for her. Probably happier for her win than for any of the other athletes.
