Problem is Skip, you're the only one who sees yourself in this light. That is why there tends to be so many problems on these boards when you get involved in arguments. The fact is, your opinion isn't more important than everyone else's, you just feel it is. You probably feel insulted when people don't agree with your opinion because of this and that's why you sometimes feel you are being attacked when in reality people are merely disagreeing with your opinion in the same manner you do to ours.

You will forever come off as arrogant until you realize that you are just another user on these boards like the rest of us. The fact that you "fathered" the rules holds no grounds as much as you'd like them too. Until Ken comes in and says you are more than just another user of this program then that's all you will be. Nothing more, nothing less. Your opinions are welcome, just like others, but no one has to feel your opinions are somehow more correct than other's.

You can try to say you are more important than others but that's just not true and everyone's opinion is equally important. The only people who hold more power than the rest of us and their opinions should be taken as fact is Ken and Geri. Like it or not, I think I speak for most people when I say, that's the way it is. 

On the subject at hand though, I agree with Martian and others, that creating child profiles is the correct thing to do.

That's the difference, Skip, Antares wouldn't do that. Nor would most of the people on this forum. It takes a certain type of mentality to do such a thing.

Even when spot was with out Cory or what ever his name was again the site never really ever fell into the hands of one person although Sam ran most of the stuff.

To clarify my defense, when you count the people that Skip has run off, his contributions probably are in the negative. However, this doesn't excuse other people's behavior. He may be an egotistical unfriendly person, but he's not a Nazi.

If I were to advise him on this matter, I would say stick to posting his opinion on the rules and his reasoning and don't give his take on other people's opinions and especially not his opinion of his own opinion.

BTW, criticizing him is always a good way to get at least 2 green arrows.

If Ken were to come in and say (which you have commented you'd like him to do), "Everyone listen to Skip when a word from Geri or I is not available", then we would have no choice but to listen to you as that is the direction we're given. The manager can tell you what and how to do things, but your coworker really can't. They can try and might get frustrated when you refuse to see it their way, but until someone with authority comes in and tells you to listen to this person's advice and follow his lead, they are nothing more than your coworker.

Exactly and for those reasons which you stated i think thats why Ken has not given Skip any status of authority on this site.
