| | Posted: | | | | Well today is Britt's 18th birthday! And she has been away to college for a couple months now. She is still loving every moment of it. But this is the first birthday she has ever had without family around. I so wish I could be there spending the day with her. But today is Monday... her busiest day of the week.

| | Posted: | | | | We always offered to let our sons bring guests home for the holidays. That helped us see them more often, and we gave them some space, even while at home - let them feel "grown up." Just a friendly tip from a guy who has been there - done that.  | | | Thanks for your support.

| | Posted: | | | | I'm so excited!...I found out for sure yesterday evening that I will be getting to see Brittany next month! She decided she wanted to come here and spend Spring Break with her father!  This will be the first time I will see her since dropping her off at Hollins oh so many months ago! She is coming the last week of next month... so I do still have a bit of a wait. Needless to say I can't wait to see her. But not only that I can't wait for her to see me... think she may be surprised. I am a rather large man... but over the past several months I have dropped a bit of weight. While I am still a right big man there is a noticeable difference.  Something tells me this month is going to go by so slowly!  | | | | Pete |

| | Posted: | | | | Cool! Daughter #1 turned up on Monday, spent two days eating all the enchiladas and chocolate biscuits, and commandeering the sofa (couch) and the DVDs. She went back to Oxford today for some sort of "bash" at her college! We will be blessed with a flying visit on Friday by daughter #2 on her way to a job interview in London. BTW Pete, we want to see the before and after pictures of the transformation from "large person" to Mr. Universe. Kentucky must be good for you!  | | | | Chris |
