OK, but if they have a profile containing an actor credited with a variant, and download another profile of the same actor spelled differently, they will not see a headshot on the new profile ,since all contributors do not use common names (not requested by rules).
Removing variants in masterdatabase does not help people who link the actors with their correctly spelled name, and doesn't help people who use exactly "as credited". On the contrary, a headshot database containing only common names help the contributors that follows invelos rules. If you want contribute your profiles you should follow invelos rules, if you want only have your own database with your rules I don't see any problems, the correct use of "as credited" is using the common name (by invelos rules), if you are interested in contribution. For this HS database is up to Donnie the decision. I'm sorry, but evidently I'm not clear... Donnie work on a database following his rules, and, until now, some invelos rules regarding common names, and he share his work with the community. I like it and I use it. I'm working on my database, I like contribute to the online database, and I share my work with all the people that want use it, if Donnie or other people want use it is there. If you don't like the way we work why don't your work on your own HS database? For me a masterdatabase containing non contributable data is useless. | | | | Updated List of Accepted Birth Years |

Those headshots are really "headshots", meaning I avoid images showing torso or whole body, except group photos (ex: New World Harmonica Trio). I also try to always remove added text. Age is "middle career" age. Names are correctly accented. Headshots that concern different people with same name have a birth year. Those BY may be validated by Invelos, but some are not, and some are even fake when real BY is unknown. A fake BY is 90xx, xx using the roman numeral in IMDb database.
