Funny that all the shows are fairly recent (except for a very few from the 70s).  No one mentioned shows like Bonanza, The Big Valley, Gun Smoke, Have Gun Will Travel, The Virginian, The Tall Man,
Red Skelton, Laurence Welk, Johnny Carson's Tonight Show.  It is pure heck to be old.

I would have put (at least one of) the Quatermass series (1953, 1955, 1958) but the conditions set out in the opening post excluded them (they're 6 episodes each, and not related enough to be considered series of the same show).
Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!)

Yes please!
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Based on what I've seen, I'd guess Babylon 5 or Firefly.
