In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Are you missing something? You tell me!

If you have AnyDVD installed and running, you should be good to go, and the DVD IDs read by the internal tools in DVD Profiler should be correct. A good practice might be to make a note in your contribution that "The Disc ID has been read with AnyDVD active" so that the reviewers will know that you're aware of the problem. (For Blu-rays it doesn't matter, only for DVDs.)

Since Redfox has mysteriously vanished from the net, you can't buy a new license for AnyDVD, but GreyHulk has graciously volunteered to provide an old version of AnyDVD if you ask him:
http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=926221&PageNum=14&messageID=3447165#M3447165

If you don't own AnyDVD, or don't want to use it, you could try to install the plugin Add by DVD Disc ID:
http://doena-journal.net/en/dvd-profiler-tools#AddByDVDDiscID
Note that AnyDVD or any other "on-the-fly" decrypting software (DVDFab, Xreveal etc.) must not be active while using that plug-in.

You can verify that the Disc ID is correct with this tool:
http://dvdid.cjkey.org.uk/
Note that AnyDVD or any other "on-the-fly" decrypting software (DVDFab, Xreveal etc.) must not be active while using that tool.

I tested Dvdid, but the result looked strange.

I guess it could be a disc id if the | was removed.

I suppose I'll have to test DJ's AddByDVDDiscID to see what that produces.

Update: Yup, it seems to be correct w/o the vertical bar.

You're right. There's a vertical bar that splits the number in two parts. If you just disregard that, the number sequence should be correct.

You can also try this program with the same name (dvdid.exe):
https://www.xreveal.com/download/dvdid.exe
The number to look for should be the one on the first line, "dvdid_win7:".
