| | Posted: | | | | Never ceases to amaze me the stuff I learn here. How many years have I sung the Christmas songs with the word "Yule" in them, not having a clue. So I enjoyed reading up on it a bit. Will do more as time goes by.
Here is something:

Apparently "Yuletide" in fact means "the Christmas season". Wonder how far back, all those transitional associations go ... (don't mean to start a new thread. It just popped into my thoughts)
