Here's how rounded corners come out of my scanner:

I assume nobody prefers to see it exactly like this. So how should it be done?

I'm not sure what I see from this small pic, but generally, putting a piece of black paper behind the insert is the way to do it.

Isn't that in practice the same as "fill with black"?

I use Photoshop to put in gray corners to match the background of the layout I'm using so they appear not to exist. I also use a file I worked on to create the round corners in various sizes to match which size round corners the particular slipcover has.

Well, that doesn't really help me to determine how I should do it, in order to satisfy the majority.

No, just vote for the option that would best suit you! Unless you prefer to scan everything yourself?

If it was me, I would try and fill the corner with the same colour as the rest of the sleeve so it looks rectangular with 90° corners. If you did that, I would give a definitive 'Yes' vote.

That would be "fill with closest matching color" if I understand you correctly.

Yes, that's how I voted.

I voted for fill with black considering most cases are black so, perhaps to be more accurate the best option to me would be to fill in with the case color...

Although any other option is acceptable to me as well, as long as the cover is in good quality.

So filled in or not, the best quality will get my vote.
