| Posted: | | | | Anyone else have issues with getting cracked DVD discs (cracked around the center hub hole)? I am always gentle and take great care of my DVDs, but it seems I'm having more trouble with it due to cheaper manufacturing and poor cases that hold the discs too tight. The worst company was Shriek Show/Tokyo Blast/Media Blasters. I had serious issues of their discs coming cracked brand new out of the case. | | | Never judge a movie by its sequel or remake |

| Posted: | | | | I see it regularly where I work, mostly in Xbox 360 games. We also see old rental DVDs come in with hub stickers, so if you want to save the disc that's probably your best option.
At work we just destroy any discs that we end up with that have hub cracks, though we try not to buy them in the first place, but sometimes something slips by. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | I've had a bigger issue with loose discs instead, which actually means disc hubs not being tight enough, the opposite of your problem. I've lost count how many times I've received brand new discs that RATTLE inside when I shake the case (which I've been conditioned to do first thing whenever I receive a disc). |
