When contributing uncredited cast, do we use the Credit Lookup Tool to determine what name to contribute to the online database, or do we just use the name as given in the source being used to identify the cast?
I rarely contribute uncredited cast, but at the moment I'm looking at a music disc with no on-screen cast credits, but it did come with a booklet that contains all that information. My understanding is that these are classed as uncredited, but as several have their stage names used in the booklet, I realised I wasn't sure which route to go down in terms of what names to use.

| | Posted: | | | | With any uncredited cast, it would make sense to be able to cross reference them with other profiles in your collection in which they appear and add to data across the entire database, so I always use the CLT or any common name threads to see which name to enter.
In the case of this music disc, you could add the cast using the common name and then the credited as field for the stage names. |
