| Posted: | | | | I of course have bought the same DVD several times by accident. When I enter the DVDs into the DVDProfiler is gives me an error saying I already have the DVD. I would like to track if I have a few copies of the disk. What is the best way of doing it in DVDProfiler. |

Then head over to the Feature Request forum and request a copy count or something as a future feature. |

You should have another tab with the header "Add by Disc ID". You must have a DVD-ROM drive in order to use this feature. And the DVD-ROM drive must be set up in DVD Profiler under Tools>Options as the default DVD-ROM drive. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

Copies ..... sell on eBay My Problem / Safety craziness is HERE Sadly English is confusing at this point... you can have "multiple copies" of a title (which means they are all original shop bought) or you can *make* copies of the original (which is a pirate) djskyler is saying if he ends up with multiple shop-bought items he sells one on Ebay (whic is what I do too) not that he makes copies and sells those. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | pcb... Here's a way that should work. 1) Change the UPC of the original title (Select the title - Goto the drop down menu DVD/CHANGE UPC and change the UPC to what ever. "you might want to copy the correct UPC to the notes for safe keeping" 2) Add the second or third copy of the DVD you want by going to the drop down menu again and select DVD/ADD TO COLLECTION. Just use the correct UPC to add the new copies as needed. You also could just use a TAG stating how many copies you have or use the NOTES area with this info or even edit the DVD title stating the number of copies you have. ARGH! I just suggested to someone to use a TAG! Off with my head! Quoting pcb105: Quote: I of course have bought the same DVD several times by accident.
