| Posted: | | | | I have a DVD in a standard keep case inside a custom box. The keep case has one description on it and the custom box has a slightly different description on it. Is there a rule for which one should be used for the overview? I'm leaning towards the outer box since that's the one that will match the cover scans. |

| Posted: | | | | Outer case IMO. If the Rules say 'use the scan fro the slipcase' then it implies to me you also use the overview from there too (unless it has no overview when I would say the inner case is preferable to "make one up") | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | This reminds me of a DVD I purchased recently from Canada. It came in a Slipcover with one overview, and then the inner Keepcase had a completely different Overview. It also had the same UPC on both.
The Slipcover overview was actually much less informative in regards to the actual film than the inner Keepcase Overview.
So, I added the outer Slipcover overview (matches the scans, and the rules I suppose?) to the online database ... and kept the Keepcase overview in my local database. | | | Corey |

IF that case does NOT have an overview as sometimes happens, use the one on the inner case, OR if that is not there, create your own overview (NO spoilers allowed) and be sure to document that in your notes if you contribute it. | | | John
