| Posted: | | | | My all time favorite film is 1963's It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World has probably be seen by my two eyes at least 50 times in 44 years.., and today on TCM I saw, for the first time, the opening credits in b/w and animation of 1960's The Facts of Life with Hope and Ball starring. Well I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that animated cast/credit roll done exactly the same way and style and animation as IAMMMMW .
I would be disapointed to see or hear that Stanley Kramer didn't see right to NOT have the same style of lettering and animation as a 'B-film' in B/W three years before.
I have checked the credits in both that scene and on IMDB and can not find the company or person responsible for this. Does anyone know ??

His name stuck in my mind because I think Spielberg said the Catch Me If You Can credits were a tribute in style. | | | Jon "When Mister Safety Catch Is Not On, Mister Crossbow Is Not Your Friend."
