I like reading about everyone's favorite DVDs - I've ordered quite a few after reading the postings. What are your favorites listed by genre?

All right... a few genres:

Sci-Fi:

2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY
ALIENS/ALIEN
AVALON
BLADE RUNNER
FORBIDDEN PLANET

Horror:

KAÏRO
THE SHINING
THE THING
THE OTHERS
THE EXORCIST
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET
PSYCHO
Romero's DEAD Quadrilogy

More later perhaps, if the thread takes off...
Erik

"Has it ever occurred to you, man, that given the nature of all this new stuff, that, uh, instead of running around blaming me, that this whole thing might just be, not, you know, not just such a simple, but uh - you know?" -- The Dude, The Big Lebowski
