Just don't go there

I have been looking forward to this for soooo long... though it's one of my all time favourite films I refused to get it on DVD until they brought out a disc worth having (which has been promised for years) and now i'll finally be able to own it!

Buy the HD DVDs they will be region free (perhaps the BD's as well, as usual with Warner).

I am hoping not... Ridley seems to be one of the driving forces of this, so hopefully he will ensure that his home country will get the best of it!

Where can I pre-order? (considering heavily to get the limited 5-disc set with the special packaging...)

I'll likely get the 4 disc set. I can't justify spending twice that just for the workprint version and some nick-knacks.

4 versions of the film is enough for me.

I hope you're right ... though wasn't he behind the Legend SE with both versions of the movie which only appeared in R1?

Patsa, good idea in theory but not having, and not being able to afford, an HD TV or any HD player (and I won't be getting a player until the format war has been decided anyway) it's not going to work!

What an exorbitant price. But Star Trek fans are usually accustomed to those prices
