I know its been a long time since I have posted.  And I could have sworn there used to be a similar post out there somewhere, but the search feature isn't being my friend.

I lost and now have to rebuild my listing of sites to buy DVDs from.  I am looking for sites that have a large variety of Asian films or other foriegn films with english subs.  Especially if I can find the obscure stuff.

What sites do you use?

I've always found www.cdwow.com to be good for Asian films.  Also the Hong Kong legends website.

If you know the title of the film(s) you're after, this next one is particularly useful - www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk. As far as I'm aware, if the film is available on DVD, it'll provide the link to the relevant website, and also order them by ascending price.

Good luck with the rebuild though, hope you get what you want.

They pursued it with forks and hope.
They threatened it's life with a railway share,
They charmed it with smiles and soap

I use DDDHouse.com for Hong Kong films, YesAsia.com for Japanese and Korean (free shipping, plus usually they offer a free DVD if you buy 3).  DVDfromKorea.com is also a decent Korean dealer (cheaper than YesAsia, but you have to pay for shipping, which can get expensive).

I use CD-WOW occasionally, mostly for British releases when they are cheaper than Bensonsworld or AmazonUK or a HK title if I'm only buying one or two (DDDHouse is great for buying several DVDs, as the shipping prices become more acceptable with the more you buy). DVDGO.com is good for Spanish titles.

If you are looking for obscure titles or don't feel like searching for foreign dealers and are willing to pay a little bit more, DiabolikDVD.com and xploitedcinema.com are decent importers from around the world.  Diabolik has the better selection, though.
