I don't think he wants to mess with the collection numbers (for good reasons)
Depending on how important sorting all your titles alphabetically is to you you might want to try out this:
Use sort titles. There's two ways I can think of to do this
1) set sort titles to "Criterion 0001", "Criterion 0002" and so on
2) create a parent and and them all as children, then set their sort titles to "0001", "0002" and so on |
