Everyone who watched the St. Elsewhere series finale remembers the show's final few minutes, where Tommy Westphall, autistic son of a construction worker is shown to have imagined the entire series as he plays with a snowglobe.

The creator of St. Elsewhere had its Dr. Turner investigated for murder by characters (Pembleton and Bayliss) in another one of his shows, Homicide, A Life on the Street.

Therefore, in that all the characters within St. Elsewhere were spun from his mind, Homicide, too, must have been within Tommy Westphall's universe, concocted by this autistic child.

Doctors Westphall, Craig, and Auschlander visited Cheers' bar.

and on and on and on...

This site has linked more than 280 TV series (not including animated shows) to either or both St. Elsewhere and Homicide... there is a map, an alphabetical listing, and a crossover grid key to explain how I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver, The X-Files, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly and more than 270 shows exist within Tommy Westphall's universe.

A small world, contained in a snowglobe...
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
