Not directly.
Like you say, you have to use the XML or one of the plugins to export into a format that's easily convertable into HTML.

Sure, depends on your skills and ressources: You can either build one or multiple HTML-Pages with XSLT from the XML-Export (see signature for starters), or you can go for broke and use phpDVDProfiler.
But you will need a webserver with PHP and mySQL and the installation is a bit tricky.
