| | Posted: | | | | Just bought a cheap laptop for using profiler (among other things) at work. Was planning on choosing films with it for when I get home but also to do all the editing I need. So what I could do with is getting some sort of directory of films listing the cast/crew etc offline.
Anyone know how this could be done? |

| | Posted: | | | | Well I'm assuming this is just for local use as we're only allowed to use the actual end credits of the DVD itself for the online database source.
But all I can think of is you decide which films you're going to do. Then go to the various online databases at home and save offline versions of each film's page, giving you an offline version of the info. |

The best place to get the data is from the DVD.  Almost all DVDs have credits that can be entered into DVDProfiler. I bet alot of people get the info from places other than the credits...whether they admit it or not. I dont mind the odd mistake, they'll be noticed and rectified eventually. I do however understand why a lot of people take the time to get the info from the source, I do it myself when I have the time (which isnt often)  | | | | Last edited: by MarEll |

| | Posted: | | | | One thing you could do is to down-load all instances of those title that you own from all localities/regions into your wishlist then you could pick and choose which elements you require for your own version and just cut and paste what you require (ie cast/crew/audio/video etc) it would only be minor items that would require change SRP/Regions.

Having said that have you tried 'Save web page as' on whichever page your looking at, that has the info you need?
