I just found this at my local Wal-Mart for $9.44 with their halloween movies and was wondering if this was any good. I know that their Christmas specials are some of the best holiday specials out there, but I've never heard of this one. I've already bought it, but before I open it, I just wanted to know what other people thought of it, so I made a poll.

Thanks.

If I am correct that is the movie that was made by the same people who did the famous "Rudolph" thats on every Christmas. I have never seen it myself, but I can't imagine it would be all that bad. Just go into it expecting nothing, and you should come out with something

It's one of their least known, but it still is very good. Boris Karloff voiced the lead character, beautifully IMHO.

The wife and I watch it every year for Halloween. I bought it when it first hit DVD a few years back, after seeing the show for the first time on late-night TV.

You'll enjoy it...

I love this movie, I'd say it's a must-have for classic monster fans.  The soundtrack has a number of memorable songs, and if you buy the CD it includes a fascinating booklet about the making of the film.

I vaguely remember seeing this many years ago and remember hardly nothing about it, besides the fact that Karloff was in it as a voice talent. I don't recall seeing it at the Wal-Mart here though, hmm...
