Excellent DVD release, if you love Halloween and haunted houses. A lot of great material spanning two discs, including appearances by Angus Scrimm, Robert Englund, Don Coscarelli and many others. The Shadow Riders: 25th Anniversary Edition Region 1 Released: 9/4/2007 Full Frame 1.33:1 2.5 out of 10 -- or 1 stars. What a truly crappy release. "Digitally Remastered" looks like a VHS tape. My old Trimark DVD looks crystal clear compared to this. And not only that, they shoved it all onto a single layer...heavy compression artifacts throughout. The commentary track and featurettes were good, but I'm selling this junk! Black Roses All Regions Released: 9/25/2007 Anamorphic 1.78:1 8.5 out of of 10 -- or 4 stars. Excellent crystal clear transfer on this one. Synapse rules!
