Think they'll release both movies together in a set? 'Cause I'd rather not buy them separately.

I believe they were both released before as a single set.

I have no real info, but common sense says that they will be released together in a boxset sometime in the future.  I think they are releasing them separately initially to try and recoup some of the money from the less than stellar box office performance.

Then again, here we are 3 years later still waiting on Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair so who knows.

Rodriguez mentions in the commentary and 10 minute film school an upcoming Grindhouse set.
He also starts the commentary saying it will be for both flicks, but there's no commentary on the current Death Proof disc.
I also read something about the Hobo With A Shotgun trailer being licsened for a Grindhouse dvd in the future. That and the other held back trailers lead me to believe it will happen sometime soon.

Yeah, it's not a huge surprise but it's also nice to hear some conformation.
Keep in mind with that conformation that in the past RR has said that SE's of Spy Kids and The Facuilty were coming which never have. I'm sure if he owned the movies all would be fine. With the Weinsteins owning it, I'm still not so sure.

That must have something to do with it.
I'd just like it being released on High Def for both the whole bloody and the grindhouse with the trailers and all.
You know, you probably do, that in Europe they took the movie Grindhouse apart in two movies. B$@*#rds would have loved to see them back-to-back.

For all able to view region 2 discs: the 6-disc Grindhouse SE is now on sale in Japan. Just received my copy. Should keep me away from the PC for a while...
