| Posted: | | | | This DVD, is the Two-Disc Special Edition with a lenticular slipcover and an additional bonus disc included, of course, has the same UPC code as the Two-Disc Special Edition. With the additional content and different cover, is there any way of including this in the database as a separate entity? I know Ken has made special provision for a similar case at least once. | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | only way I can think of is to put it in using the disc-id instead of the upc. Other then that I would think you would have to contact Ken to see if he can allow it another way. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I bought this as well. I was going to just change the UPC on the existing profile for the Harry Potter 2-Disc one in the database, and discovered that there wasn't a different UPC. I never got around to working on the profile though. Disc ID is probably the only way to submit it. Since the only real change to the profile is an extra disc and different cover, you could always just add the existing profile by UPC and change the info locally and lock just the sections that are different, like the Cover images and disc IDs. I was thinking about doing that myself. | | | Chris |

I don't know if it applies to this release but there have been things like this with more then one "exclusive" version. If say Best Buy has a different slip cover exclusive it could make it even harder to submit this type of release when the UPCs are the same. And if they did this with a box set you would need the disc IDs for the daughter profiles. Other then bugging Ken to setup multiple profiles on a single UPC every time they come up I don't think there is any way to handle them that will work for everything. | | | Tom. |

| Posted: | | | | What I do in these situations is to make the changes that apply to my copy, lock them and just never contribute *those* changes. That way I can download the changes that do apply (cast, crew, etc.), but not extra disc ids, scans (if applicable), etc. | | | Build a man a fire and you keep him warm for a day. | Posted: | | | | All the previous editions have had a two-disc factory issued version called "Special Edition" as well as the single disc version. I've got each of the 4 out so far, and the new one on order.
The UPC should belong to the factory issued version, NOT the Exclusives from K-Mart or Best Buy or whoever. Enter those manually and lock them down. | | | John
