Anyways I'm running Vista Ultimate and after installing DVD Profiler I ran it for the first time and it entered all my registration information and restored all my profiles. How can this happen? I completly reformated the hard drive and reinstalled XP than installed Vista over that because its an upgrade only |

| | Posted: | | | | No. I don't save anything in the Documents folder. I have one central place I put everything so that I can easily back it up every week. All I saved in that folder for dvd profiler were the install files for both desktop and mobile and the backup file that gets created from the file menu. I don't really care but it just seemed a little odd that I completely reformated the hard drive and that was still good. Just like I didn't do anything at all. |

I have moved my database to another drive so it isn't on C and I wondered if the same thing had been done with you? Also, did you want to delete all your profiles? If so, you can tag selected, delete all tagged. | | | | Paul |

Then I have a secound one that is just used for back up and recording TV shows on. I left everything to the default setting so my collection was in C:\users\Daniel\Documents\DVD Profiler. I reformated C than reinstalled Vista |

| | Posted: | | | | I don't think it's necessary Ken, but it's always been advisable to clean out and rebuild Windows PCs on a regular basis because Windows has never been very good at housekeeping so PCs tend to get clogged up with file fragments and temporary files etc.
Reformatting and restoring a PC can have a very beneficial effect on performance. |
