Wow. He was great. Thank you for that link -- beyond The Fugitive and the absymal Space: 1999, I knew of little else that he had done.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

R.I.P. Barry. I just started watching the TV Series "The Zoo Gang" only two days ago. I've really liked what I've seen of it so far. All the Stars from that Series are now dead.

Fine actor. Check out the flair he brought to "A Piano in the House" from the original Twilight Zone.  I'll bet he started on the stage.

I remember how astonished I was to first hear Barry on a talk show after watching The Fugitive.  Never knew he was British before.  His posing as an American predated Hugh Laurie by about 40 years.

A true loss.

Morse established himself in London theatrical circles before emigrating to Canada with his wife and two children in 1951 and the family obtained Canadian citizenship..

as per the article above..

@Chazcdc54
I'm not a good judge of accents, but when I heard Barry Morse on a talk show during the first run of The Fugitive he sounded a whole lot more like Michael Caine than one of the McKenzie Brothers (form SCTV for the younger readers out there.  Gosh, that was 25 years ago now. )

His bio says he was born in London's East End, so that'd make him a Cockney to the core.
