| Posted: | | | | Good news! I was actually on vacation with my parents in Colorado when they were filming it. I was only a kid at the time, but I did get to see Richard Chamberlain and several of the other actors. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | As usual, the book was better, but the mini-series was quite well done. It's really hard for anyone to do justice to a book like most of James Michner's. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. | Posted: | | | | I bought it on the release date, but haven't had time to watch it yet... I liked the packaging which opens like a book, and includes a nice seperate foldout digipak. And all the discs are surprisingly not flippers! I was in Colorado on vacation as a kid when they were filming some of it, and got to meet some of the actors. I still have some pictures around somewhere. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | I have it but haven't seen it either but look forward to it. I hear tell the image is only so, so and audio to boot. Typical for a 70s TV print I guess. We'll see... |

| Posted: | | | | I got this on release day as a pre-order from Amazon. It is magnificent! The audio is as it was on the original TV version, but they must have used the master print because the video is superb throughout the entire series.
I have waited a very, very long time for this to hit DVD (partly because I never got to see the last three hours of it!) and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! Robert Conrad considered Pasquinale to be his best work, and it shows. Richard Chamberlain is superb as McQeeg, and Barbara Carrera did a wonderful job in her very first TV role as Clay Basket.
Highly recommended to anyone who loves American history, and great TV. | | | John
