| Posted: | | | | Hi !
Is there anybody, who could develop a plug-in for DVD Profiler which enable this great piece of software do be able to retrieve DVD information from other website (if possible) ?
I am living in Hungary and unfortunatelly most of the DVDs are nto available in my locality in the database. But I do know professional dvd site where these datas available, so with a great search retrieval plug-in it would be so good to get DVD local releases as well.
I am interested in any solution, I am even ready to pay for it certainly within reasonable amount.
Is there any body whould coul help me ?
Many Thanks,

Andras, the plugin that you request can't be use on DVD profiler. All the information that are enter in a profile must came from the disc, no third party source are accepted except for some exception. |

After that he has deleted the topic, so I'm sure that this kind of plug-in can't be use. By the way do you really think that it will be use only as a baseline? I've some doubt about that. |

| Posted: | | | | If you have money, and especially if you have a business venture of some kind, perhaps you can approach Invelos owner with a business proposition. Maybe you can get a custom version that works only with your source? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |

| Posted: | | | | Hi !
Thank you for all answers. I am confused a bit. Please help me, why anybody would have a problem with this ? I simply purchased a program, and I would like to build my Own database from my own purchased DVDs. I would not like to distribute it, or do not have any business interest behind it. I believe that DVD Profiler is an excellent piece of software and I unfortunatelly, my language not that popular to have all DVDs in our own language. i do not want to contribute it, I simply want to catalog my DVDs, thats all.
Where am I lost ?
Many Thanks,
Andras |

Many Thanks,
Andras Do a forums search on "manual profile". You can do exactly what you want. What is not allowed is the automatic interaction with a web site other than Invelos. What you type in is your business and will not interact with the Invelos database. On the other hand, if you do build profiles that are reflections of commercial DVDs that are not yet in the database, you have the opportunity and the right to contribute those profiles - just as anybody else, as long as you adhere to the Contribution Rules. I think what I'm sayiing is correct - we'll know in about 1 millisecond after my post - I'll get corrected for sure! | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | I understood now, thank you. So, would like to re-configure my original plug-in question.
Ciould anybody help me to develop a plug-in which can :
Add an extra toolbar button (or such) to load an XML file data and from that add DVD manually to the database ?
As I have many DVD already typed into an XML file, fixed format, would be also good for me if it could be loaded.
Could anybody help on this please ?
Many Thanks,
Andras |
