I try collectorz for cd's, it works, but if you want to do it well, there is still a very lot of work to do afterwards.
I have tried collectorz for books to and some others, but it is not very suited for the european (Belgian) market.
I understand that it will be far more difficult for these matters because of the very wide range, and certainly for books.

My other collections are comics (1500 pieces, all in excell for the moment, collectorz not suitable, to less titles to be found)
And also a serie of boardgames (150)

Try this. Search forums. All Forums/Any Date. All you need to type into the Search field is TWO letters CD. You will find the answer. That's twice this week.

When did Ken say he was releasing Beer Profiler?

I'll drink to that!

Especially as they brew some good stuff in Belgium.

For your CDs I would recommend Orange CD

If you have already listed your comics and boardgames in Excel import the files to Access and make a database out of it. Here you can easily configure the namefields and datasets for your needs.

EDIT: Oh and I'am looking for a Whisky profiler.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Skip I am impressed.  Twice in one week and that vein on your forehead still isn't standing out... LOL

Which brings me to my next question, where are you hiding the bodies... LOL

If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

I use a program called Realms of Wonder for my comics. I've been using it for over a decade now. It has functions to import data from major online comic databases or to enter it in yourself (as much or as little as you want).

If I remember correctly, Readerware can pull data from both the Dutch Royal Library (Koninklijke Bibliotheek) and
bol.com. You could try this one for your books.
