When my older daughter Laurel got married (more than five years ago... six or seven or so), her new husband Shawn had a just full-grown kitten who was smallish, quite black in color, with very soft fur. The cat is named Friday.

While they were in their first apartment, my daughter was experimenting with black and white photography (before they owned a digital camera) and caught this photo of Friday stretching/yawning atop their computer tower. No, he was not being a demonic cat, he just plays one on the computer...




After she scanned the photo and sent it to me, I posted it at various places (long before lolcats became any kind of fad).

More recently, I tried for months to get various lolcat threads and sites to offer up captions for the demon Friday photo. A few months ago, the first showed up, and today in the Fark Caturday thread, a new one arrived.
