| | Posted: | | | | Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and the great software. Since several years now, i've been searching for the name of a movie and can't find it. What better place to ask then here?  The movie is a bit like Groundhog Day (German: "Und täglich grüßt das Murmeltier), but if i remember correctly, more dramatic than funny. A guy in a suit walks to a big building. Just before he enters it there lies a woman who was killed by a car. As he enters the building, it seems like there is some science projekt going on with a particle accelerator. They do a test and you see a white flash and then - it's the morning of the same day again. The guy wakes up and just like in Groundhog Day is the only person who remembers that he is in a time loop. So the movie goes on, he re-lives the day over and over. Rescuing the woman before the car hits her, even flirting / dating with her. I don't know how the movie ends but i know i really liked it. I also think the movie is from the late 80s or early 90s. I've only seen this movie once on television at night at the age of 16 or so and didn't really care for the title. But weeks later i remembered it and wanted to see it again so i searched. Now i'm 24 and still couldn't find it yet. It could also be Retroactive (1997), I remember see it years ago and it sounds similar to your description. |

In fact when I looked up Retroactive on Amazon it also had a mini series called 5ive which looks just as good and I ordered that too! EDIT Oops!!
