Same as the Dr. I think I read somewhere, either an interview or it might even be mentioned in one of the Special Features, that the darkness during some scenes was to hide how crappy the "guy in the suit" actually looked. I think they may have also been trying to imitate some of the original movie where you never really get a good look at the Alien and how that amped up the tension. | | Posted: | | | | Yea, this was discussed before. If you watch the featurettes, you will find that it was a choice made by the director. If I remember correctly, it was to build suspense. They felt it would be better if you couldn't see the aliens clearly.
In my opinion, it was a bad choice. For me, it was so obvious that it was a distraction. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
