Looks like a deal was struck today by Hasbro to re-acquire the world-wide distribution rights to the Sunbow Library of Hasbro Classics for $7 million.    Transformers and GI Joe are among the titles listed. I missed out on the original Rhino release of Transformers, so I'm hoping Hasbro will be putting together a new set (timed to coincide with Transformers 2 theatrical release next year maybe?).
