| | Posted: | | | | I'm sorry this just sickens me. $400,000.00 an episode. I think I am going to stop watching them even though they are one of my favorite shows. The greed is just dripping from the cast. There are few people I think are worth this kind of money for 30 minutes of work and the Simpsons cast is not among them. |

It's not that I don't agree that it' a lot of money. It is. And on a purely efforts-to-dollar ratio it could definitely be argued they don't deserve it. But since the show apparently makes enough money for Fox to cover those kinds of salaries and more, why not pay the actors well?

| | Posted: | | | | Just to be fair, it's not 30 minutes worth of work. The shows are only 20 minutes long but the recording time for those 20 minutes is much, much longer.
I also agree with Astrakan - if the show makes that obscene amount of money for the network, the people who make the show that popular should get a kickback for it. |
