| Posted: | | | | I am getting the following error: This profile cannot be contributed due to the following errors: * The UPC is invalid. Please check these items and make any necessary corrections, then try the contribution again. The UPCs are valid though because I just downloaded updates to the profiles and wanted to correct them and recontribute! Help! | | | Last edited: by Squirrelecto |

| Posted: | | | | Funny I just had that and posted in the contribution forum.
Seems only to be a problem if someone has already contributed the profile. | | | Home of the phpDVDProfiler forums |

| Posted: | | | | I've just updated one of my existing profiles with the full R2 EAN (one of the 16 or so that didn't get done automatically during the V2.5 restore process) , and I was surprised that there was no "thank you for contributing" screen, as there was in the older versions.
I wonder whether this was because the update was solely to input the EAN from 27655-01309 to 827655-013090 ("1976 Cup Final Saints v Man Utd), and DVDP "sees" it as a new DVD. In which case will there be two entries in the online DB?
Edit: I've just checked on the Invelos\My Profiler\Contributions page and the DVD does show up, and the contributions notes say "New Contribution". Also, I've tried to Add DVD using the old 10 digit EAN and the DVD does not appear in the online DB. So it really is a "new" profile and needs to be added back into to the online DB.
I assume that the other 15 that I had to do by hand will have gone missing as well! | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by Mole |

| Posted: | | | | No profiles exist in the new database until we all submit them. All you've done is import the dodgy one from 2.4 & fix it before submitting it to the new database. Try re-submitting it once it's accepted and you'll see the bug we're talking about. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Lithurge,
So do I surmise from your reply that the Invelos Online DB is actually "empty" at this time? That the profiles from IVS did not get transferred? | | | Chris |

Yep, that's the long and short of it I presume we'll have to upload every profile we've got in order to rebuild the DB....that's going to keep us busy for a long time....how many profiles were in the IVS DB...over 300,000 wasn't it? | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by Mole |

Yes, I see what you mean, I've just submitted a number of the profiles that I put into the IVS DB (music videos & some obscure stuff) and I got the message you describe in response to the Led Zeppelin DVD. | | | Chris | | | Last edited: by Mole |

Ken, can you comment please? Yes - but check they haven't already been contributed. Everyone's working overtime here Including Ken - who is approving them faster than you can say "Approved" | | | Last edited: by Squirrelecto |
