| Posted: | | | | I'll have to start copy/pasting this I believe I use OrangeCD. It's shareware, deals extremely well with CDs and also Vinyl and MP3 and can be found at www.firetongue.com Similarities with DVDPro: - 1 developer. Talks with people on forums and listens to requests. - 1 buy. Unlimited upgrades, lifetime - Makes online collection (both on their site or makes an export for yours). You can check my collection here (their site, just click albums to see the rest), or here (my site - needs updating, I know). Differences towards DVDProfiler: - Well, it catalogs music discs instead of movie discs, innit? | | | With every passing hour our solar system comes forty-three thousand miles closer to globular cluster M13 in the constellation Hercules, and still there are some misfits who continue to insist that there is no such thing as progress. | | | Last edited: by Skywatcher |

| Posted: | | | | I personally use the collectorz.com software for my CD collection. As deejay stated, you can't upload your collection to a website like Invelos does. It does indeed handle Vinyl also, and it has an HTML export function, so with a few clicks you can export your collection to a complete website (if you have webspace available to host it).
They used to have a lifetime licence, but their policy changed 2 years ago. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

Collectorz still honors free upgrades for users who got one of their lifetime license several years ago. Since those licenses promised that upgrades would be free, Collectorz continues to honor them. BUt you had to get a license as of a specific date (which I forget). But if you got a license from them after that specific date the wording of their EULA didn't include the promise of free upgrades so newer users have to pay for them. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges. DVD Profiler user since June 15, 2001 | | | Last edited: by kdh1949 |
