Subject: Show your support

There are fewer than two months until the election, an election that will
decide the next President of the United States. The person elected will be
the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans.
To show our solidarity as Americans, let's all get together and show each
other our support for the candidate of our choice.

It's time that we all came together, Democrats and Republicans alike.
If you support the policies and character of John McCain, please drive
with your headlights on during the day.

If you support Obama, please drive with your headlights off at night.

Thank you and God Bless!

To paraphrase Charles Barkley "the poor have been voting Democrat for decades and they're still poor.

When somebody asks me if I'm a liberal, I ponder openly to them:
"Lets see, Ted Kennedy is the liberal standard barer,
Did I cheat in school, no I didn't have to.
Did I drunk drive my car into the drank and thus be responsible for the death of someone I was or
intended to commit adultery with, then delay the report to officials of such incidence until I sobered
and could consult with a legal team. Then pay off her parents. no, I still be in jail.
Do I go out boozing and pitch women on the butt and if their male friends complained sick my body
guards on them, no.
I'm I a big fat slob, no, although I have gained about ten pounds since I retired.
So, I guess I'm not a liberal."

I am basically an independent, but to vote in the primary in Arizona, you had to be registered as a
Democrat or Republican, So as a lark I registered as Democrat. I found it great fun when they called
for a donation to challenge them to a IQ test and a steel cage bout for their money, but
they would  never take up the challenge. They finally stopped calling. I wonder why?

No let's look at the media, they are obviously biased and hypocritical.
If a Democrat or Republican commits an similar questionable acts guess which act they are going to
play up which they are going play down.

I've been around long enough to have seen the decline in what passes for main stream journalism in
America.

I used to work for the "Kansas City Star" back in the days it when it was a company. That means to
hold stock you had to work there. Among other things, I used to make out the daily financial report
to the president. I know of the integrity of the men who ran the Star back in those days.

Check out whose money is and has been going into the main stream media outlets.
Anybody who relies solely on the main stream media for their information as to what is happening in
the world today is sorely in the dark. Today's media has evolved onto nothing more than tabloid journalism.
We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own.
Ineptocracy, You got to love it.
"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." - Abraham Lincoln

Who, What, When, Where and Why. You are a reporter, NOT a columnist, your opinion is not relevant.

Srehtims,
you are mourning the decay of modern journalism and in the same posting use the mechanisms of those responsible for this decay.
What do personal frailties have to do with political work of a party as such?
And if all democrats were, as you indicate, like Ted Kennedy, does this imply that all republicans are like Richard Nixon?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
