There is more to this than just event-izing a film!!!  I enjoy going to the movies immensely and yes there are specific type movies I "have to see" in the theaters vs. those I can wait and view on DVD, but still the actual escape from the house and visit to the theater is an "event" as well!!!  The night out for "Dinner and a Movie" is something we personally try to do often, but I choose a big recent release blockbuster over the more the subdued "indy" release almost 90% of the time.

And honestly which film truly needs the "theater visitors" more, the "indy" or the "multimillion dollar blockbuster"???
