Sometimes when I upload my collection, it happens that I had more profiles in Owned then I have in my local owned. (deleted by error or moved to ordered or wishlist, ...)
When that happens and I don't know why there is a discrepancy between the two. I have to compare manualy the 2 lists online and localy.
I create an empty dvdprofiler database "Online"
download the online collection in it.
With the Export Profile to CSV plugin, I export the titles to online.csv
I open the local database (default)
With the Export Profile to CSV plugin, I export the titles to local.csv
With Excel:
Import the local.csv in location A1
Import the online.csv in location B1
delete Row1 ("Title " field name)
select column A and do an alfasort
select column B and do an alfasort
and visualy compare the 2 columns against each other

anyone an idea how to automate this process and find out the extra titles in the online not in the local database?
