It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Oh, I'm still hoping that Ken will one day find the time to adapt DVDProfiler for CDs, it's just that I sit here and wait in patience.

It's coming Monday...straight after the Beta goes live.
Why else for the time delay.

Actually I think a CD Profiler would be that much work for Ken. The basic client-server architecture is already there and an audio CD has that much less information to store in comparison to a DVD.

So basically it would be a bit of database design and a bit of UI reconstruction.

I'd say it could be done within a month.

Just you wait until you have to enter the full cast and crew of a recording of "Nabucco"

But we'd fight forever over whether they have "all regions" or "no regions".

Then we'd have people requesting that Ken add options and Tabs for other media such as tape cassettes, 8-track tapes, and MP3 downloads .

I have some of these 25 cm, 78 rpm bakelite discs, but can't do cover scans.

You mean the audio-equivalent to the laser-disc, the needle-disc?

Some of those. They are very heavy, contain some gravel, and you can hear that too. Probably from before the Flintstones.
