If you've heard it yet - what are your opinions of the new James Bond Theme "Another Way to Die" by Jack White and Alicia Keys? The first duet for a Bond theme.
If you haven't heard it yet, it can be heard here on the Third Man Records website.

Somehow reminds me of Live and Let Die from the Wings... Still, a surprisingly good song to me (at least as a theme song). I was a little concerned when I read the name Alicia Keys there (not my kind of music) and I think the Jack White I was thinking of was somebody else entirely (luckily).

Wouldn't listen to it all day long though, still listening to it again I will

First listen I wasn't really sure, but then a second listen along with imagining the opening credits with the dancing naked silhouette women flying and I thought it wasn't too bad at all.

Though, I do think the song has a better name than the movie.  This should have been the name for the movie as well.  Oh well.

I agree with Vega about the title, the Song title fits 007 much better than "Quantum of Solace". Musically I think it is quite a departure for a Bond film. I ceratinly miss John Barry's style...call me old-fashioned. Though I thought Casino Royale was a fine film for Commander Bond, in fact one of the better films in the series, it was nice to see Bond returned to who he is, and not so dependent on the gadget of the film which became increasingly commonplace after Thunderball.

Now that i try it this "imagining [...] dancing naked silhouette women flying" makes a lot of songs sound better:

"Afternoon Delight"
"The Purple People Eater"
"The Candy Man"
"Playground in My Mind"

songs in didn't help:
"Muskrat Love"

Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

The instrumental sections borrow well from the Bond themes and give the right impression but I am not a fan of the vocals, which at one point to me sound like they are actually out of tune (though I assume they're not and it'as just the way they're mixed).
I will say I didn't much like the last one until I saw it with the titles so I'll reserve full judgement but I personally don't think the stated intention to get a Number 1 single in the UK for the first time with a Bond theme stands much of a chance except for the fact so few singles are sold nowadays it may fluke it!
