Having no luck with search this morning I decided to post this. I know there is another thread but couldn't locate it. So here it is what movies would you like to see on DVD, there is no current information on?

For me they are:
Damnation Alley
The African Queen (Region 1)
The Questor Tapes

Don't know what there is to like about Damnation Alley. Execrable excuse for an adaptation of Roger Zelazny's not great, but certainly solid science fiction novel, which was at least cinematized in spirit later on as Escape from New York. The ending to the movie Damnation Alley was lame beyond imagination.

The Questor Tapes was on DVD but is apparently not easy to find at this point.

I'm still waiting for the rights mess for High Road to China to get straightened out. Don't know why, but I liked that movie. Wouldn't mind seeing Rough Cut hit region 1 as well.

Hey karlpov, not to be rude, but I didn't ask for a critque on my choices, I asked for you to put in yours. As for the Questor info thanks. Do you have a link? All of the ones I located are dead.

Sorry, I didn't think giving one's thoughts about particular titles was ever out of line here. I'm a science fiction fan and feel strongly about bad science fiction movies, such as one which abandons all plausibility in order to attain a happy ending (to mention one of several problems).

Anyhow, I'm happy to give you a sampling from my IMDB "My Movies" list, which consists entirely of titles which to my knowledge have yet to get a legitimate DVD edition playable in Region 1.

De aanslag (1986)
The African Queen (1951)
Androcles and the Lion (1952)
L'associé (1979)
Background to Danger (1943)
The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez (1982)
Black Magic (1949)
Black Noon (1971)
Blade on the Feather (1980)
The Blue Dahlia (1946)
Campanada a medianoche (Chimes at Midnight) (1965)

to be continued....

Seconded. The Queen is undergoing an exhaustive search for film elements to try and restore her to her proper place in film history, everybody keep your fingers crossed and maybe toes too, this project has been in the works for many years.

I'll add two TV Mimiseries to the list, one of which has been forgotten by many, I will wager

Rich Man, Poor Man (has been released in region 2)
Amerika

ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
