Is there something like a tag where I could store a custom numeric value for a title, and then later sort or filter on that value?

I'd like to keep track of the "tomato meter" rating of films from rottentomatoes.com, but at present don't know how to create a custom field for this data.  Didn't immediately see this addressed in the "Help".

Thanks.

There is No custom feature I personally know about for this...but you maybe able to use the "Review" feature that is part of the "Personalise Tab" for each DVD (2 boxes, 1 for Movie, 1 for DVD) beside the area that you can enter purchaes info?

You can then sort your titles by "Review"  Collection-> Sort by (on the top menu line)

I agree with snarbo's idea if like me you dont use the DVD review feature.  If you already use that though you could use tags.

What are "Slot" and "Location" typically used for?

It seems that I can put arbitrary data there, and the program does not object.

Can I sort on either / both of these?

Location/Slot was added for users who use DVD Disc Changers but many users use them to identify where their DVDs are stored, i.e., in binder A, Page 3, etc. You can sort by Location/Slot but not filter on them.
