You have to try this , it takes 2 seconds. I could not believe this!!!

This will boggle your mind and you will keep you trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't.

It's pre-programmed in your brain!

1. Without anyone watching you (they will think you are GOOFY......) and while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

Depends on how you draw 6... actually I draw it from the center and I fooled my leg

Really funny - hopefully my colleagues did'nt watch me...

Cannot really explain this. Maybe the responsible part of the brain has a limited multitasking ability?

I suppose it should work in a separate memory area!

I found that too, but otherwise it's rather brilliant. You'd think that once you're aware of it you may be able to force yourself to keep making clockwise circles, but I haven't succeeded yet...

Tried this with a female co-worker.  She can continue to rotate her right foot while drawing the 6 normally.  Maybe this is a gender thing??

Just try to send a bugreport to the OS-developer.
No answer or update in nearly 40 years, and there are still people who say that M$ has a bad customer support.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

It's not a bug; it's a feature to lessen air current turbidity.

When I look at my foot while doing this I have no problem keeping direction, however if I look at my hand while drawing the 6 my foot goes a bit haywire!

Thanks!

I was able to do it the first time and once after that but every other time my foot goes to a side-to-side motion instead of reversing.
