As some may know they released 3 different covers for this movie in 3 different SteelBooks, but all have same UPC. I think i know the answer, but is there anyway to submit with the 3 different covers?

And is any of them yet in the database?

Also, if i am not able to submit 3 with same UPC what are my options to get all 3 in there even locally?

Thanks in advance.

687797123244 - Sukiyaki Western Django: (Steel Box) (Gang Cover)

687797123220 - Sukiyaki Western Django: (Steel Box) (Bloody Cover)

687797123206 - Sukiyaki Western Django: (Steel Box) (Gunslinger Cover)

687797123299 - Sukiyaki Western Django: (Standard Cover)

Each has it's own UPC, so no problem.

Edited. Did not realize at time of original posting that Best Buy's steel books were "exclusives" sharing a single UPC. The above UPCs are for the standard variations of the steel books and probably should not have been used for the BB versions.

So why were 2 of my 3 submissions declined within a minute of contributing them with no explanation or anything????

edit...make that all 3 within minutes. what the hell?

Did you make sure to list all sources for information submitted? That's often the reason for contributions being declined.

yes. it was all from my personal collection. all info and cover scans i did myself. no explanation,. no nothing, literally within a minute of submission. i don't understand and why i would bother to do the work i did.

ok, now 3 say "approved". i don't know what i was doing for it to get declined so quick, but i would like some feedback so i don't keep doing the same things...

Do these all have the different second discs I saw at Best Buy yesterday, or is that a Best Buy exclusive thing?
I kinda laughed at it as I had a comic collecting flashback. Then I got annoyed looking at them cuz $15 each is way harsher $-wise than comics were.
I wanted to check this flick out but know my collector mentality will take over, making it an expensive blind buy. Plus the cover I liked had the bonus disc that sounded worst, while the bonus disc that sounded best was on the cover I liked least. So I walked away.
Guess I'll see if I can rent the film.

Film was terrible.  I blind bought the Blu-ray version and hated it.  So what do I do today at Best Buy?  Buy all three Steelbooks.  It's a disease and I think I'm going to return them if I'm ever going to recover.  I don't even watch DVDs anymore...

BB is the only place that has a 2nd disc and they are each different (extras) in each of the SteelBooks.

The Best Buy "exclusive" Steelbooks seem to have the same upc.  This poses a problem in that the bonus discs are different and cover scans are different.  I tried to submit a profile only to discover that someone already had a pending submission- same upc- but different cover and bonus disc.  In case anyone wants alternative scans, I did some of the case I have (the female gunfighter)

i have all 3 with different cover scans and the separate UPC as listed above post in the "approved" status in contributions. not sure what that means, but maybe a good thing?

Sounds good.  I guess I'll just keep things local right now and see how this plays out when updates are re-enabled.
