What's the difference between these audioformats? An example, my copy of The Simpsons movie is listed as "English DTS HD HR" in the audio section. On the back cover it says: "Language: English DTS 5.1 HD" and behind that the 5.1 speaker logo. Further down the cover I see the logo for: "dts-hd master audio" So what is the difference between those formats? Is HR short for High Resolution, and is HR a compressed format?

DVDP previously only supported listing DTS HR but as you've seen there's also DTS HD Master Audio. Master Audio is lossless while HR is lossy -

Here's a Wikipedia link detailing them Click

All profiles containing DTS HD have been converted to DTS HD HR so if you know that it is in fact DTS HD MA you need to change the profile accordingly.

It should have been done the other way.  DTS HD MA outnumber DTS HD HR by more than 50 to 1.

Aye.  But hey, finally that kid who tried to change "Stargate" 15 times has the correct audio on it now (one of the few lossy/HR titles).
