| | Posted: | | | | What's the difference between these audioformats? An example, my copy of The Simpsons movie is listed as "English DTS HD HR" in the audio section. On the back cover it says: "Language: English DTS 5.1 HD" and behind that the 5.1 speaker logo. Further down the cover I see the logo for: "dts-hd master audio" So what is the difference between those formats? Is HR short for High Resolution, and is HR a compressed format? | | | "What's God?"

It should have been done the other way. DTS HD MA outnumber DTS HD HR by more than 50 to 1. Aye. But hey, finally that kid who tried to change "Stargate" 15 times has the correct audio on it now (one of the few lossy/HR titles). | | | Erik
