| | Posted: | | | | Wouldn't that be a chance to increase the profiler market for Invelos? Officially supporting a wine setup? The installed linux user base is increasing. And since profiler 2.x seems to run under wine, it may (or may not) be that difficult to officially support wine. |

The same "Invalid floating point operation" invasion.
Switched "run as W2k" to "XP" in winecfg and still the same.

The problem is that as soon you "support" a platform, people expect you to test it (and retest for each new version of Wine etc), and typically this is a rather boring and time consuming task... meaning time is taken away from developing for the current supported platforms. And since it is boring it is demotivating, which has a huuuuge impact on a developers efficiency. Sure, it might be worth it (only Ken can judge that one), but don't expect Wine supports comes free (or even cheap). | | | Regards
