How many of us approach this and other forums hoping to discover a topic which enthralls us, or to return to a thread which engages us without enraging us, anticipating writing the perfect post which will garner discussion and lavish praise?

I know I'll never start one, will never write that amazing post which generates pages of insightful discussion, will never amount to more than an occasional lolcat which finds some faint kudos.

We just hope that soming happens... something fun, something engaging, something to bring a sense of community beyond the walls of where we exist.

Yes, we are here. Yes, we read, and sometimes listen as well as hear, and here we are for each other.

Hi.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

Hey, don't knock it! lolcats are occasionally the only reason I get drawn here, and you started it all...

I agree! Thanks VibroCount for "priming" the lolcat thread, and thanks Dr. Killpatient for starting the thread

Hi.

I agree totally.,, The posts coming out this past week and others must have all of us in the winter doldrums.. as the topics are mostly ho-hum ( how many children do you have?).,,
I find that when I start what I think may be an interesting thread,, it dies off off in one page., and the other ho hum threads run to 15 plus pages..
