Resubmit the errant profile again and simply Cancel the submission once the web page comes up to wipe out the submission.  If you want to correct a submission do the same but click Submit (after making the corrections of course). 

You can only have one submission per Profile at a time.  Until the submission is approved you can do either of the above.

Or go to your contributions page, click the title of the disc submitted and you should see a couple options pop up on the right.  One is Withdraw, which does just that.
